Lead Web Developer at Velocify

The Lead Web Developer is a Full-Stack Developer who is responsible for maintaining and developing the various Velocify web-sites. The Lead Web Developer is entrusted with organizing the site architecture, databases, applications, content management systems, site analytics, as well as content updates alongside other developers and the marketing team under the direction of the Creative Services Director. 

What You'll Do: 

  • Collaborate with marketing and outside departments to implement cross-system dependencies and interactions
  • Work with the Web team to create functional specifications for projects, setting expectations and determining timelines
  • Work with the team to continuously develop the marketing web pages including websites, microsites, and campaign landing pages
  • Assist with the implementation of new tools within the marketing team and help with the on boarding process
  • Develop, test, and launch new features and content to the Velocify and landing pages
  • Routinely audit site content for errors and consistency
  • Analyze and provide regular reports on site traffic patterns and user behavior to help create new development plans
  • Help to maintain uptime of website 

What You Need:

  • 4+ years working with / managing corporate websites
  • Deep understanding of development process, including testing and deployment
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies, including HTML5, Jacascript, PHP, Wordpress, blogs
  • Experience working with CRM and Marketing automation systems
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of company staff
