Why is the Technology Team important to Beachbody?

Beachbody’s technology team is leading the way for new opportunities in the digital realm. They provide applications from consumer-facing ecommerce and high traffic CRM for our Coach network to data platforms and core enterprise applications which are at the heart of Beachbody's order processing and fulfillment engine.

What you will be doing at Beachbody as a Lead Systems Engineer? 

• Provide technical leadership in a 24x7x365 dynamic and fast-paced environment as the Core Infrastructure team is responsible for all compute, storage, and network resources deployed throughout Beachbody data centers, along with the interconnections between them and to the public cloud.
• Balance operational support needs (incident/problem/change) with critical improvements and new technology implementation and maintain a level headed demeanor, cool under pressure, and able to effectively produce results.
• Understand the best practices for architecting highly available, secure, and scalable hybrid cloud systems and have a deep, hands on, understanding of rapidly evolving datacenter, storage, compute, networking, virtualization, and cloud technologies with extensive experience deploying and supporting them in the real world.
• Understand that walking the walk is more important than talking the talk – you know how to get things done quickly, without sacrificing quality or taking undue risks. In a Lead role, you inspire (and expect) your team to achieve excellence together; Heroes need not apply.

• 7+ years building and deploying complex systems within a mission-critical environment.
• 5+ years evaluating new technologies for appropriate fit within a strategic roadmap.
• 3+ years as team lead or manager of technical resources in a fast paced environment.
• Preferred Skills- VMware technical certifications/experience (VCP, VCAP, etc.), Cisco data center technical certifications/experience (DCUCS, DCUCD, etc.), Cisco network technical certifications/experience (CCNA, CCNP, etc.), F5 technical certifications/experience (F5-CA, F5-CTS, etc.), AWS technical certifications/experience (CSAA, CSAP, etc.), IT Service Management (ITIL, COBIT, etc.) certifications, Training or experience on the ServiceNow ITSM platform.
