About the Team:
At ChowNow, we are passionate about serving the needs of over 7,000 restaurants to help them compete in an increasingly technical world. Our team works on products focused on restaurant clients and their diners (who transact over $1,000,000 daily on the ChowNow platform).
We believe positive relationships make our team able to do more with less. You will collaborate, learn, teach, and experiment with new approaches to getting big things done together.
Our team is located in the Playa Vista neighborhood and tech hub of Los Angeles — 5 minutes from both the beach and the freeways. We believe in equal opportunity for all, and you should too. We’ve been named a Best Place to Work, have been certified as a Great Place to Work, and have a whole bunch of happy employees on Glassdoor.
About the Position:
As our Talent Sourcer you will play a key role in the growth of the ChowNow workforce. Engineering, Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Service, you name it. You will learn the ins and outs of how our organization is structured and play a key role in bringing in the BEST talent across the board. You will partner closely with our Recruiting Manager and Hiring Managers to strategically identify, and attract the best talent.
You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside passionate individuals who believe their job is more than just a paycheck. You will receive daily exposure to trailblazers in the People & Culture field, thought leaders in the tech space, and senior level executives including the CEO. You’ll be a part of a team where upward mobility is driven by results, not by tenure or organizational politics.
We are looking for a customer-focused, diligent and motivated Talent Sourcer with impeccable follow-through who will play a key role in the growth of the ChowNow workforce. You will have a true interest in people and culture, are motivated to develop yourself and those around you, and, of course, it doesn’t hurt if you love food!
You should be data-informed and interested in constant improvement, with a “whatever it takes to get it done” attitude. Hopefully, you consider yourself a competitive person - the top talent you’re working with will be, and you’ll be competing against other companies for them! Most important of all is the intangible skill of understanding people and their motivators: You have the ability to read a candidate’s profile on paper and match them with the right opportunity, sell them on that opportunity and what ChowNow has to offer. You will have a true interest in people and culture, are motivated to develop yourself and those around you, and, of course, it doesn’t hurt if you love food!
