Who You Are
All of your friends call you to solve their technical issues. You are the first to know about the next Apple or Google product. You salivate at an opportunity to solve complex problems. As an IT Help Desk Specialist at Cie Digital Labs you will provide Tier 1 support for computer hardware, mobile devices, printers, applications, internet access, and VoIP phones. You will also analyze and resolve end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required. You are focused, results-oriented, and a resourceful problem solver. You thrive when working at a rapid pace in a creative environment.
What You’ll Do
- Respond to and diagnose problems through discussion with Cie Digital staff ensuring a timely process through which problems are controlled and performing post resolution follow-ups to service desk tickets
- Respond to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support
- Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights
- Perform system builds, backups, and recovery
- Provide recommendations for improving IT services or products
- Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery
- Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services
What You Need to Succeed
- You must be self-motivated, driven, and passionate about technology.
- You must have at least 6 months of prior customer service experience.
- Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to get the work done with minimal supervision
- Possess ability to multitask and reprioritize tasks.
- Must be familiar with Apple devices, systems, and OS.
- Must have an understanding of the OSI layers
