Role Summary:

We are seeking a Growth Analyst who will have a huge impact on the ways we acquire and engage new users. This hire will be responsible for proactively monitoring growth metrics for anomalies and informing new tactics and strategies for marketing, partnerships and growth product. You’ll help us quantify the impact of our growth initiatives and discover & diagnose drop offs in our conversion funnel. The Growth Analyst will work closely with growth team leaders as a data-driven strategic advisor and report directly to the Director of Strategy and Analytics. Candidates should enjoy taking ownership, performing rigorous analyses and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in growth, marketing, and/or product analytics for a consumer-focused technology company, with a proven track record of delivering insights that drive growth investment decisions
• Strong familiarity with the strategies, metrics and tools used to drive growth at an internet or mobile company (e.g. SEM, SEO, email marketing, CAC, conversion, A/B testing, etc.)
• Extensive experience manipulating data sets for visualization in Excel and BI tools such as Tableau
• Excellent SQL skills and understanding of relational databases; experience querying large, complex data sets
• Ability to execute research projects, generate practical results and recommendations, and present them at the executive level
• Good client management skills with a strong grasp of both technical and business perspectives
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Enjoy working in both individual and team settings
• B.S. or B.A. in Math, Statistics, Applied Econ, Physics, Comp Sci, Engineering, or other technical field required; advanced degrees a plus

Responsibilities:

• Dive deep into marketing and customer data to identify key growth opportunities and recommendations
• Help us quantify the impact of our growth initiatives, from email communications & online advertising to PR campaigns & content marketing
• Proactively drive analysis and dissemination of key data insights from various internal data sources
• Collaborate with the growth team to identify key metrics and work with the data infrastructure team to ensure the data necessary is productionalized for use in our reporting tools
• Use both numbers and qualitative data to build hypothesis and recommendations
• Present regularly to the executive team on insights for existing growth initiatives and go-forward strategy
