iHeartMedia is the largest media & entertainment company in the U.S. reaching nearly a quarter of a billion people every month. We do Radio, Digital, Mobile, Social, Outdoor Advertising & Traffic Networks. Our Creative Studio design team is responsible for the iHeartRadio app design, content design, marketing design, corporate design and local market design. We are a growing team mostly based in NYC, but have a small team in LA that does a little bit of everything (design, web, video).

PERSONAL SKILLS:

We’re looking for an experienced front-end developer to be with us for the next few months. In a nutshell, we need someone who can take the designs and build great functioning sites that display perfectly across all mobile & web devices. This is a contract gig, but with the potential to turn into a full-time position with benefits. The compensation will be based on the quality of work & skills. Looking for a team player who has worked on a team before. Need someone who loves to collaborate. Looking for someone who is always looking for ways to make things better and find solutions to problems.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

We need a developer that can:

• Architect fully functional, pixel-perfect, responsive websites from Photoshop mock ups that work on every device and browser

• Write DRY and logical HTML mark-up utilizing Bootstrap 3 grid structure

• Utilize BEM/semantic or similar CSS naming conventions

• Implement CSS3 and/or Javascript animations with limited DOM thrashing/repainting

• Advanced Javascript for interactive pages, dynamic content, and functionality

• Ingest + manipulate data via AJAX and understand/construct JSON data schema

• Use Git repositories for version control and issue reporting/resolution

Understanding of:

• Theming + Templates

• Media queries

• Feature detection

• Progressive enhancement

• Graceful degradation

Bonus points for:

• Package management - Grunt/Gulp

• Experience with CLI build process
