Front-End Developer:

As a Front-End Developer at Velocify, you will be responsible for creating a modern interface for the Pulse application.  You will work with Product, Design, Backend and QA to develop scalable, rock-solid, production-ready features (and, of course, fix bugs along the way).  You will be expected to iterate rapidly and use Angular to develop reusable components.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, build and maintain an efficient, extendable and reliable codebase
• Collaborate with back-end to create data contracts for API services
• Identify bugs and inefficiencies in code and help come up with solutions to address these issues
• Contribute to code quality, organization and best practices
• Create both prototypes and production-ready code
• Develop re-usable components to ensure usability, standardization, and cross-browser compatibility.

Requirements:

• Strong Angular 1.x experience – minimum 1 year professional experience
• Solid Javascript knowledge
• Expert knowledge of HTML/CSS with familiarity of CSS preprocessors (eg: Less or Sass)
• Knowledge of common cross-browser and cross-device issues
• Understanding of responsive design and development
• Knowledge of Frontend best practices
• Knowledge of debugging techniques
• Responsive, positive attitude under time pressure
• Ability to thrive in a high-performance work group
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• 3+ years engineering experience (though we value skill over time spent at a keyboard)
