The Financial Analyst provides finance leadership and decision support for Verizon/EdgeCast Content Delivery Network. This position will report to the Director of Finance. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide financial leadership and decision support during the annual business planning and monthly and quarterly updates
• Establish base line assumptions and drivers, evaluating actual results against the plan/forecast and adjusting expectations accordingly'
• Revenue, operational costs, and capital budget forecasting and planning
• Collaborate with the operations and sales organizations to understand how changes in customer relationships will impact overall revenue and profitability and the impact capacity expansion will have on capital budgets and operating costs
• Provide support on special projects, ongoing P&L and profitability management (i.e. understanding SG&A trends, market-sizing, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting)
• Prepare key metrics as defined by company leadership, providing insights that can increase management’s responsiveness to both business problems and opportunities
• Identify and eliminate non-value added activities within the finance department and cross functionally where possible 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred
• CPA or other financial certifications preferred
• 2 years finance or related business experience
• Excellent analytical (Excel), presentation (Power Point), conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to think creatively and work in a team environment and must work well in a dynamic environment, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously as well as have the ability to take on leadership roles in various functions
• Working knowledge and understanding of US GAAP
• Excellent partnering skills
