Event Ops / Tour Manager (Contract)

We’re looking for an Event Ops / Tour Manager to join Team Spectacles! Working alongside our Hardware and Software Engineers, you’ll provide technical support, as well as build and troubleshoot a wide range of computer issues.
What you’ll do:
- Troubleshoot mechanical and computer issues in dynamic environments
- Become a subject matter expert on continually evolving areas of Snapchat’s business
- Manage multiple workflows from both an executional and program management standpoint
- Document business and technical requirements to identify, negotiate, and close third-party partnerships
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are met
What we’re looking for:
- An IT background is a plus — this role requires technical troubleshooting without existing documentation
- An understanding of different computers and systems
- A background in building (not just following) technical processes documentation
- Someone who’s able to travel, work remotely, and comfortable working in different cities/offices
- Someone who’s comfortable using a variety of technology and learning complex technological terms and concepts
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to interact comfortably with a variety of teams and third-party collaborators
- Someone who is comfortable with atypical work weeks — this role involves working weekends and nights, as needed
- A passion for Snapchat and a thorough understanding of what makes for a great Snapchat experience
