Hyperloop One is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual who has excellent communication and organizational skills for an Engineering Coordinator role. The individual should be eager to learn and contribute to a fast-paced company. We are looking for a multi-tasking individual who will report into the Sr. Executive Assistant, President of Engineering. Our ideal candidate should be ambitious, upbeat, creatively efficient and willing to learn as we are a fast-paced business. You will be comfortable dealing with people and able to carry out duties with accuracy and speed.
The goal of the position is to ensure that operations are efficient and add maximum value to the organization.
The Candidate:- Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
- Support SVP in Engineering Department and other teams with various administrative tasks (calendar scheduling, global travel, expense reports, disseminating correspondence, etc.)
- Events coordination/scheduling for external customer’s/vendor meetings
- Adhoc responsibilities – provide back up support to Executive Assistant to President of Engineering
- Coordinate office as needed
- Team player, ability to collaborate throughout the organization and provide up-to-date communication across all departments
- Ability to consistently manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Concur required.
- Proficient in written and oral communication
- Ability to exercise diplomacy and discretion
- Construction or Engineering Experience a plus
- 3-4+ years of administrative experience
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience arranging global travel (flights, hotels, car service)
- Presentation, customer service, interpersonal and communication skills over the phone and in person are a must.
