THE ROLE

 

The eCommerce Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the online product and sales strategies for retail web sites. This person will work closely with the merchants and web team to prepare product for online representation. The eCommerce Coordinator will have responsibility for web site product preparation and will manage multiple in-season and day-to-day processes and tasks. The eCommerce Coordinator will communicate with internal contacts and external photography partners to ensure timely deliverables are met. The eCommerce Coordinator will be responsible for site testing to ensure that content updates meet brand quality standards. S/he will partner with store operations, customer service team, planning, allocation and fulfillment teams to ensure brand, product and pricing integrity. The eCommerce Coordinator will also work closely with the IT team to develop business requirements for upcoming projects, as requested.

 

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

 

BS or BA required with a minimum of 1 year of retail or internet experience. Strong organizational skills are required and the candidate must be very detail oriented. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build strong relationships with multiple internal departments and well as with outside vendors. S/he must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and must be flexible to switch gears depending on changing business needs. The candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. S/he must have a clear understanding of web site operations and must possess strong computer knowledge.  You are required to have intermediate to advance skills using Microsoft Excel, and have excellent writing skills that will be utilized in producing online content, writing product descriptions, etc.
