Driving Line Project Coordinator
Driving Line is an automotive focused website and magazine that covers everything from trucks and off-roading to domestics and imports. Our Driving Line team — they’re pretty awesome game changers, delivering unique automotive content that caters to enthusiasts in print and digital format nationally. Our content reaches over 8 million visitors and continues to grow year after year.
We are looking for a remarkable project coordinator to join our internal Driving Line team. This person will be responsible for coordinating all team efforts from magazine production to event planning. If you are an automotive junkie who excels at event execution and keeping projects organized, we might be the perfect match.
What you’ll do:
- Task Manage. Ensure all details are organized and tracked throughout the lifecycle of projects.
- Be resourceful. Team members and external partners should be able to count on you to be the expert on projects you are working on.
- Assert yourself when needed. Nothing should get by you and you shouldn’t be afraid to track down people or answers.
- Utilize meeting minutes. You’ll log meeting notes and make sure all the action items internally and externally are accounted for and completed.
- Research. Look up and identify the hottest automotive trends and events across the country.
- Event planning. Assist in the coordination of events like SEMA and King of the Hammers.
- Budget appropriately. You’ll need to provide detailed cost estimates.
- Keep everyone updated. Prepare status reports for management, clients and other team members.
- Photo Editing. Sort event photos, resize images and watermark images.
- Provide support – especially in regards to the production of the quarterly print magazine.
What you need to succeed:
- Organizational skills and being detail-oriented are critical.
- Passion. We want you to have a genuine desire to partner with the automotive industry.
- Amazing follow-up. You’ll need to be able to move deliverables forward and manage up as needed.
- Quickness on your feet. You’ll need to quickly articulate informed answers to questions posed by internal team members and external partners.
- Ability to remain one step ahead. Be able to preplan, analyze from all angles and anticipate potential problems.
- Multi-tasking skills. You’ll need to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork. You’ll need to collaborate often and efficiently.
- Self-Management skills. You should be able to get work done with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
