Description:

ServiceTitan's Manager/Sr. Manager of People Operations reports to the VP of People and is an integral, highly-visible role to ensure the success of the ServiceTitan team. S/he develops and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, recruitment, and ongoing development of a superior workforce. ServiceTitan's Manager/Sr. Manager of People Operations leverages qualitative and quantitative data, industry best practices, and a thorough knowledge of our business to develop a strategy and lead the implementation in the following functional areas: employment and onboarding; benefits and compensation planning and administration; employee policies, law compliance, and relations; performance management; org design/implementation, and change management. Additionally, s/he is an effective partner to business leaders and works in strong collaboration with talent acquisition, learning and development, and operations to ensure a consistent and excellent employee experience at ServiceTitan.

Responsibilities:
  • Partners with VP of People to support company-wide organizational development: performance management, succession planning, org design and implementation, and change management
  • Responsible for keeping a pulse on culture and employee happiness through avenues as company meetings, suggestion programs, employee satisfaction surveys, newsletters, employee focus groups, one-on-one meetings.
  • Manages the employee onboarding process from offer letter generation and acceptance to I-9 verification, employee equipment and supplies, and payroll/benefits set-up.
  • Maintains and continuously improves employee policies and relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company.
  • Provides competitive market research and prepares pay studies to help establish pay practices and pay bands that help to recruit and retain superior staff. Monitors and continuously develops the company's total compensation structure and the variable pay systems including bonuses and raises.
  • Implements changes in benefits offered; particularly new benefits aimed at employee satisfaction and retention. Provides day-to-day benefits administration services. Assist employees with any claim issues.
  • Develops and manages company-wide employee rewards and recognition programs above and beyond Incentives
  • Responsible for promoting an excellent culture by performing office management duties.
  • Develops and maintains our People Operations dashboard; monitors and analyzes key metrics not only for quick problem solving, but also to contribute to the holistic development of ServiceTitan's PeopleOps strategy and programs.
  • Responsible for set-up and management of key HRIS, Payroll, and ATS systems in partnership with Finance and Talent Acquisition.
  • Assist VP of People Ops with HR strategies and programs
  • Manage and mentor other People Ops team members as needed.
  • Manage other strategic People Ops projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 6 plus years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions.
  • Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, performance management, organization development, change management, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred, not required.
  • Experience managing HR team members
  • Experience in the design and administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs.
  • A strategic thinker who is also detail-oriented and data-driven. Excellent data analysis skills, proficient in Google Apps. Ability to track and report metrics in a easily understood and organized manner.
  • Effective oral and written communication; including excellent presentation development and delivery skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent organizational and project / program management skills.
