JOANY is seeking a Director of QA with leadership skills who is passionate about QA and is able to work cross-functionally with teams of developers, product managers, product owners and system analysts for test planning, test development, and product validation.
What You'll Do
- Build and implement a QA strategy that aligns with the engineering organizational objectives
- Build out and manage out a QA team of both engineers and manual testers
- Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with your team to make sure they understand project progress and how it aligns with company objectives
- Meet with the rest of the engineering management team to align engineering-wide priorities
- Monitor the coverage and quality of the test cases, and ensure full quality coverage
- Cooperate with Product and Engineering to prioritize bug fixes, maintain the bug list and tracking/reporting of metrics
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years QA/Test engineering experience including experience managing a team
- Proven track record of producing results as a manager or team lead from strong organizational, time management, and project leadership abilities
- Experience with bug tracking, project management and continuous integration tools
- Knowledge of JavaScript, React/Enzyme, Electron, Github, NodeJS, Golang, and Docker
- Familiarity with MongoDB, Kafka, MySQL, New Relic, Loggly
