Our IT team is growing! We’re seeking a Director, Information Technology to support the efforts of our VP, IT by providing exceptional and thoughtful leadership and leading the development and implementation of IT initiatives that support the mission and growth of The Honest Company.

We are seeking a strategic, supportive IT professional that has successfully managed an IT organization in a hyper-growth technology company. If you have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, mentoring team members, and providing innovative solutions to complex technology problems, we’re looking for you.

What you’ll do:

• Oversee IT Helpdesk, infrastructure, telephony, IT projects, software licensing, and hardware assets
• Establish and build relationships with partners/vendors in conjunction with corporate leadership
• Oversee all IT-related purchasing and work with Accounting to manage department budget
• Oversee capacity planning and scheduling vendor negotiations related to IT needs
• Manage IT staffing and budgeting projections company wide
• Serve as a manager, mentor, and coach to the IT team
• Champion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas
• Reinforce a customer service oriented approach throughout practices both on client projects and internal initiatives
• Support and solicit input from team members at all levels within the organization
• Communicate effectively with internal clients to identify needs and evaluate business solutions and strategies
• Continually define ways to increase internal client satisfaction and deepen client relationships
• Ensure the delivery of superior solutions to internal clients
• Provide senior-level resolution to internal client issues

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field
• 8+ years of full-time work experience in an IT environment
• 3+ years of experience managing an IT department
• Experience in both PC and Mac environments
• Knowledge of standard operating systems
• Advanced troubleshooting skills
• Extraordinary attention to detail along with the ability to think big-picture strategy
