The Honest Company is seeking a Customer Development Manager for our e-commerce retail business! We’re looking for an outstanding sales professional with experience executing e-commerce strategies to reach our customers online. If you have experience working with a leading CPG company or e-tailer, extensive knowledge of digital marketing and e-commerce best practices, and a passion for The Honest Company’s mission to deliver safe, eco-friendly products to consumers, we’re looking for you.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute Honest’s strategic sales plan for our e-commerce retailers
- Use data to create and execute compelling e-commerce strategies to drive conversion and sales
- Identify opportunities for efficiency, profitability, and overall improvement in key accounts
- Identify high potential revenue opportunities through market and customer profiling
- Develop and manage solid customer relationships with key accounts
- Partner with Brand & Creative teams to deliver best-in-class digital content for our e-commerce customers
- Collaborate with Digital to ensure our brand is properly SEO-optimized and our digital ad strategy is tailored to our target customer
- Align our business and category strategies with overall growth plan
- Lead quarterly business reviews and performance analyses
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to maintain brand and channel integrity across the web
- Pioneer new opportunities online to elevate The Honest Company brand and customer experience online
- Contribute to overall customer strategy ensuring The Honest Company’s business objectives are achieved (sales, profit, share, new item listings)

What you’ll need:
- 5+ years of experience selling or project managing in an e-commerce environment
- Extensive previous key account management responsibility
- Demonstrated record of achievement throughout career
- Strong knowledge of online retailer and marketplaces
- Knowledge of and experience with syndicated data sources including IRI, Nielsen, and SPINS
- Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Bonus points for:
- Background in e-commerce retail
- Background in digital media buying and planning
