Beautycon Media is seeking an experienced Copywriter to manage messaging and communications for its family of media, social and e-commerce platforms. The Copywriter will be responsible for day-to-day copywriting needs; he/she will infuse the Beautycon voice into online / offline advertisements, press releases, website copy, video scripting, email copy, articles, and more.

The successful Copywriter will have solid experience writing copy that motivates Millennial and Generation Z audiences. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oversee and obsess about the consistency and quality of our brand voice

- Stay up to date with social influencers and current trends

- Assist internal brands with creative brief development and use that strategic direction to create copy for marketing materials that will serve as guidance for graphic / imagery development

- Write copy for direct response marketing campaigns that generate sales leads and drive consumers to take action.

- Contribute written content for our website, social platforms, and other online and print marketing outlets

- Write / edit product descriptions for e-commerce

- Write / edit PR and outward facing documents

- Develop language style guides and other usage documentation

QUALIFICATIONS:

* 1-3 years experience in an extremely creative environment, proven experience writing to a Millenial and Gen Z audience; must also have comedy writing experience
* Enthusiasm for working with art directors/designers and developers to create beautiful web/print materials

* An uncontrollable desire to make sentences shorter, catchier and funnier

* Expert knowledge of grammar, spelling and style

* One to three years of formal writing experience in the area of advertising, public relations, marketing, or technology

* The ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels of the company

* Self motivated and ability to influence others in story line development

* Familiarity with SEO techniques and best practices

* Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task

* Ability to respond to shifting priorities quickly and effectively
