BloomNation is looking for a dynamic community manager to build and manage the communities in a dual sided marketplace. The candidate will be an expert on building dynamic, high quality online/offline communities and engagement.  BloomNation is disrupting a $35 billion fragmented industry that has been controlled by antiquated brokers.  The community manager will have the opportunity to affect thousands of lives and directly affect the bottom line of small business across the country. You are a flower enthusiast.  You are passionate, driven and looking to make a difference.  You nurture the communities and interact with florists and flower purchasers through forums, social media and events.  You cultivate relationships with our floral evangelists and high volume flower senders. You are in tune with the community environment and can influence key external stakeholders to make critical product or process changes. You are well-versed in online community trends, technology and strategies, and are comfortable acting in the public sphere.

Responsibilities

·         Grow and manage our communities of florists and customers.

·         Monitor community health and success. Analyze quantitative and qualitative feedback to identify trends and insights into user needs.

·         Lead new innovations in community programs.

·         Blaze the trail in implementing best practice sharing and measuring/reporting and driving community health.

Desired Qualifications

·         5+ years in community management

·         Able to take the reins and run with the project on your own.   The marketing team is in its infancy stage so you must be a self-starter and able to work independently across multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

·         Excellent problem-solving skills, business judgment, strategic and analytical capabilities.

·         Experience building and managing relationships.

·         Experience working with community management tools.
