Business Development Executive – Ad Agencies

MomentFeed is growing like wildfire, and needs an outstanding business development executive to introduce and grow the use of our software to national advertising, SEO, and digital marketing agencies.

Our SaaS marketing platform empowers multi-location brands like Starbucks, Cricket Wireless, Jamba Juice and Pizza Hut to engage with consumers on mobile phones at every point in their customer journey. We work with top-tier agencies like Horizon Media, Starcom, and Razorfish to help our mutual enterprise clients harness the power of partner networks - Facebook, Google, Apple, Yelp, Bing (and more) to capture local audiences, meaningfully engage with consumers, and measure campaign performance through in-store sales.

As a key member of the Business Development team you will use your expertise in mobile marketing, SEO and social media to initiate contact and grow our relationships with agencies. Digital Marketing Agencies are a strategic revenue and lead referral source for MomentFeed, and will continue to play a critical role in the company’s rapid expansion. Within this newly established team, the opportunity for growth and advancement is significant.

You Will

  • Drive awareness and consideration of MomentFeed through the continuous education of national ad agencies with enterprise clients
  • Define, execute, and own an engagement plan for key strategic partnership targets
  • Create a go-to market plan to optimize company’s approach to agency connected accounts
  • Develop and manage relationships with agencies who consider and use our solution across their portfolio of clients, centers of functional expertise, and regional offices
  • Deliver consultative and education solution presentations with the agency’s clients as use-cases
  • Communicate effectively at the tactical and strategic level of conversation from account managers, to SEO & social media strategists, to the executive team
  • Forecast all opportunity generation activity and revenue achievement
  • Consistently reach and exceed mutually agreed targets
  • Partner with the MomentFeed sales team to successfully transition conversations from qualification/education phase and active opportunity stage
  • Monitor market feedback, trends and proactively share insights with leadership
  • Actively collaborate with leadership where appropriate on mission, culture and strategic initiatives

You Must Have

  • 3+ years as technology partner liaison at a national ad agency with enterprise clients -or-
  • 3+ years selling technology to large / national ad agencies (NOT media)
  • The proven ability to build relations at both senior leadership and account management levels at marketing / advertising agencies
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and presentation skills
  • The heart and resilience to thrive in a continually evolving start-up environment
  • You’re a well-travelled individual with a desire to envision challenges through the lens of others
  • The desire to grow in experience and responsibility as the company grows
  • BA or BS degree

 Bonus Points

  • An power-user/expert level understanding of current social and search platforms and trends
  • Experience working directly in the mobile marketing, social media, and/or SEO fields
  • Experience in marketing / selling / implementing new technologies across agencies
  • Experience using sales tech like Salesforce.com, Engagio, TheList, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, RainKing and similar
  • An understanding of consumer use of Google, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat on mobile phones
