What You’re Applying For:
Edmunds.com is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Account Executive – Indirect Markets (Inside Sales) to introduce our dealer products to automotive retailers in various assigned geographic areas. This role requires someone who has demonstrated success in presenting and closing deals over the phone using valuebased selling methodology and persuasive communication skills. The ideal candidate will have automotive and/or internet experience as well as a passion for improving the car buying experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop relationships and aggressively acquire new business through telephone, email and online presentations
- Create and manage relationships with automotive retailers by demonstrating value as an on-line marketing strategy consultant, including hosting process audits and sharing of industry best practices
- Ensure client satisfaction with Edmund’s Dealer Direct products and services
- Monitor individual sales activity, pipeline and forecast
What You Need:
- 3+ years prior Inside Sales experience (within the automotive or online/digital advertising industry preferred)
- Highly ambitious and personable with a history of above goal sales performance
- Charisma! A natural ability to build relationships, deliver value and sell over the phone
- High level of initiative, professionalism and exceptional communication skills – both verbal and written
- Strong presentation, time management and interpersonal skills Proficient in the use of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Web-Ex and Salesforce.com
- “Whatever it takes!” attitude required
