Tapiture, the LA-based social discovery marketplace, unleashed a rebranded and redesigned version of their app this morning.

The Santa Monica company’s makeover features a new main view dubbed “Discover” which allows users to right or left swipe through content to create a more tailored experience. Other new features include a faster sharing feature, improved search features to view trending content, Apple Pay support on iOS.

[ibimage==39596==Original==none==self==ibimage_align-left]Launched in 2012, Tapiture was originally marketed as a "Pinterest for men" but the site began including content for both sexes earlier in the year. The company raised a $2.8 million Series A in May and believes their new interface and identity marks a major change for the way users think of Tapiture.

“Tapiture has always been focused on helping people easily discover and act on their interests, and our new app is a major step toward realizing that vision,” CEO John Ellis said “We've built something that's completely personalized, addictive, unique, and above all, fun. I'm really excited for people to try out the new app and start sharing the stuff they're into with their friends.”
